Salesforce Architecture Review

Understand where your Salesforce architecture supports the business and where it creates risk. Leave with prioritized findings and a practical plan for your team.

What does a Salesforce architecture review cover?

A Salesforce architecture review assesses how the platform and its connected systems support your business requirements. Tucario examines the agreed areas of your org or proposed design, documents risks and trade-offs, and prioritizes the changes your team should consider. Use it before a major build, when an implementation is struggling, or when growth exposes limits in the existing design. The review gives business and engineering leaders a shared basis for deciding what to keep, what to change and what needs further investigation.

Where should the review focus?

The scope follows the business question. These are common areas to include, depending on your architecture and available evidence.

Data model and ownership
Object relationships, data volumes, quality and system ownership. Examine whether the model supports the processes and reporting that depend on it.
Integrations and failure handling
System boundaries, APIs, events and recovery paths. Review how connected systems behave when data is late, duplicated or unavailable.
Access and automation
Sharing, permissions, Flow and Apex responsibilities. Look for access risks, overlapping logic and limits that affect day-to-day operations.
Delivery and maintainability
Release practices, testing and accumulated technical debt. Identify changes that make future work difficult and where a targeted improvement would help.

What do you receive?

We scope the depth and coverage before starting. Findings should be traceable to the evidence available, with limitations stated.

An assessment of the current design
A view of the systems, constraints and dependencies reviewed. It gives your stakeholders a common picture of the architecture.
Prioritized findings
Each finding describes the observation, business impact and recommended action. Unverified concerns stay clearly separated from confirmed issues.
Design options and trade-offs
For decisions with more than one viable answer, compare the implications. Include where standard Salesforce capabilities meet the need and where additional work is justified.
A remediation roadmap
A proposed sequence of work with dependencies and ownership to agree. Your team can use it to plan a contained fix or a broader change program.

How do we run the review?

Your team stays involved so findings can be checked against the way the business actually operates.

Agree the review question
Identify the upcoming decision or problem, the systems in scope and the stakeholders who can explain the constraints.
Collect the relevant evidence
Agree the documentation, interviews and environment access needed. Access should match the scope; production changes are outside the assessment.
Review and challenge the design
Examine the agreed areas and discuss findings with the people who maintain them. Record the evidence and questions that need further investigation.
Walk through the recommendations
Discuss priorities with business and technical owners. Decide what can enter the backlog, what needs a design decision and where additional assessment is required.

Reviewed with implementation experience

Our architects work on Salesforce implementations, integrations and Tucario AppExchange products. The review draws on that engineering experience to assess how design choices affect the people building, operating and extending your platform.

Questions about the architecture review

Is this a security audit or a Salesforce certification?

The review can examine access controls and architecture risks within its agreed scope. It is not a penetration test, compliance certification or Salesforce AppExchange security review. Those require separate assessment criteria.

Can you review an implementation built by another partner?

Yes. We assess the agreed design and evidence with your team and can discuss findings with your implementation partner. The objective is a usable set of recommendations, with responsibilities clearly defined.

How long does a review take?

Timing depends on the number of orgs, integrations, areas in scope and access to evidence and stakeholders. We agree coverage and schedule before starting rather than apply one fixed duration to every org.

Do we have to commission the fixes from Tucario?

No. Your team or existing partner can act on the findings. If you want our help with remediation or ongoing advisory, we agree that as a separate scope.

What needs a closer look in your Salesforce architecture?

Share the decision, symptoms or proposed build you want to assess. We will help define the review boundary, the evidence needed and the next step.
